Life moves pretty fast. Relationships are not static. Relocation, retirement, remarriage and more can all impact our estate planning strategies. Loved ones and friends often come in and out of our lives. People you named to serve as decision-makers for you 5, 15, or 20 years ago may or may not still be the best fit for you at this point in your life.
Many of our clients have estate planning documents in place already. Often these documents are outdated (best practice is to review estate planning documents every three years), were executed in another state, provide for contingencies that are no longer practical (i.e trusts for your children who are now grown) or some combination thereof.
Don’t hesitate to call for a document review meeting. You may or may not need new documents – but we will give you all the information you need to decide.
As a thank you to our clients who we create will or trust plans for, we provide complimentary estate plan reviews every three years for life.
For assistance with reviewing your current estate planning documents, contact Atlantic Coast Law.
